Speaking at CPAC just after NRA leader Mr Wayne LaPierre, Ms Karen Pence set a change of pace when talking about her husband, the current Vice-President, in an introductory speech.

Though some in the mainstream media will certainly make a mockery out of us for finding fantastic what they think is cheesy, we here at The Goldwater like a good one-liner. Here are the most memorable quotes from Ms Pence’s speech.

About their children: “Their praise is sincere, he values their opinions is above all.”

About his time as a student: “Mike Pence is a cartoon artist. In Law school, he drew the weekly cartoon paper. It was called Law School Dayze”

About the USA: “We always stand for our flag and our national anthem as well!"

One commentator added that “Ms Karen Pence is that second grade teacher who pretty much accidentally got whisked into the WH, and she is embracing every second of it.”

We can wholeheartedly agree.
