Ohio - Model Who Hired Hitman Enters Not Guilty Plea

Ms Tara Lambert, the former model accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill the mother of her two stepdaughters who made headlines in 2016, has appeared in court again, this time however very different than last.

Back then, Ms Lambert was convicted to seven years in prison on a murder conspiracy count but luckily for her, an appeals court overturned that conviction last year on a technicality. Allegedly, there was a paperwork error in her original indictment. Ms Lambert is now suing her former attorney and appealing her previous conviction.

The now 35-year-old woman from Ashville entered a not guilty plea before the judge on new charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.

It was however a very different Ms Lambert that the cameras got to see from two years ago.

Back then, the woman realized very well the cameras were on her and treated the courtroom as a catwalk.

She clearly enjoyed the attention that the public paid to her attractive outfits and stiletto shoes. Her attorney, who she is now suing, made her looks a part of her defense two years ago.

However, that didn’t turn out all too well as the jury in 2016 convicted her because she had paid a man, an undercover sheriff’s detective, to kill Ms Kellie Cooke, the mother of the two teenage stepdaughters her then ex-husband brought with him when she married.
