ISIS Melbourne Stabber From University That Hosted 4 Other Terrorists

Earlier this weekend, a father lay sleeping in Melbourne, Australia, when he was stabbed by an international student wearing a burqa. Authorities have described the stabbing as an "ISIS-Inspired attack" carried out by an extremist.

Digging a bit deeper in her past, it now appears that the international student, 24-year-old Miss Momena Shoma, attended the same North South University in Bangladesh were another group of Islamic State-linked extremists hailed from which attacked a restaurant that left 29 dead.

Already 18 months ago, Bangladeshi authorities had revealed that several students and former attendees of their North South University were among a group of Islamic State-linked extremists.

Her victim, Mr. Roger Singaravelu, is still in a serious but stable condition and has received surgery at Royal Melbourne Hospital. His family released a statement, saying it was an “upsetting time.”

“At this time our focus is on our the welfare of our family and his recovery. We would like to offer our thanks to our family, friendly neighbors and emergency services for their support and kindness. This is a very upsetting time, and we ask that our privacy is respected to allow time to heal.”
