A 22-year-old female Muslim singer in France named Mennel Ibtissem, who had become an internet sensation in the past few weeks after her performance on France's The Voice has been forced to quit the TV show after commenters took offence to posts she had made on social media with regards to the Nice ISIS attack in which a terrorist drove a white truck into a crowd of mostly children, and the killing of an elderly priest two weeks later.

In one post, Miss Ibtissem had expressed her doubts as to the terroristic nature of the 2016 attack, claiming that it might have been a setup.

On social media, after the Tunisian Muslim terrorist had taken the truck to kill 86 people, she said: "It's good it has become a routine, one attack a week!

"And to always remain faithful the 'terrorist' took his identity papers with him. It's true that, when you're planning a dirty move, you don't forget to take your papers."

Furthermore, and much to the dismay of victims of the attacks, she finished with the hashtag "#PrenezNousPourDesCons", meaning "don’t think we’re stupid", supposing it was a setup by the government.

Two weeks later, and even more stunning, just after two ISIS terrorist had killed an elderly priest in a church in the northern town of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, she posted a comment stating: "The real terrorist is our government".

Even though she apologized afterwards, many commenters thought it would be better for TF1, the state TV channel that organizes the event, not to cast her anymore. She has quit the show now.
