White House Chief of Staff Calls Out DREAMers Who Were "Too Lazy" to Register For DACA

The liberal left on social media is outraged after White House Chief of Staff John Kelly called out illegal immigrants who said they were "too lazy to get off their asses" and register for government protections.

A slew of ignorant comments attempted to bash Kelly for his statement despite the fact he was quoting illegals and was not making the statement himself. His remarks were in response to a question about immigration legislation proposed by President Trump that would create a way for DREAMers to become citizens.

Recently, a stalemate has occurred on the issue as Democrats demand citizenship for illegal aliens who were protected by the previous administration's DACA act.

Republicans, including President Trump, demand funding from Congress to build a wall along the border between Mexico and the United States and refuse to budge on the DACA issue without the funding for the wall.

During the interview, Kelly noted there are nearly 700,000 DREAMers registered and protected from deportation under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy.

Kelly went on to call Trump's proposed immigration deal "generous" because it extends the possibility of citizenship even to those who are not registered under DACA.

"The difference [in numbers] between 690 [thousand DACA recipients] and 1.8 million [DACA eligible immigrants] were the people that some would say were too afraid to sign up … [or] were too lazy get off their asses." Kelly is clearly quoting illegal aliens' own reasons and not calling them lazy himself.

Kelly also praised President Trump's proposed immigration deal saying "[A path to citizenship is] beyond what anyone could have imagined, where you're on the right or the left."
