President Trump lashed out on Twitter Friday morning, accusing top officials he appointed at the justice department and FBI of bias against his White House Administration.
For days now, Washington has found itself in a good old fashioned partisan standoff over the memo of Mr Devin Nunes (the California Republican who chairs the House intelligence committee, who is also a staunch defender of the President).
The memo which many are anxious to read, reportedly confirms a partisan unethical conduct during the early stages of the FBI investigation into possible Russian Collusion by Mr Trump’s Presidential Election team, which began before the 2016 election race.
Mr Trump Tweeted: “You had Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party try to hide the fact that they gave money to GPS Fusion to create a Dossier which was used by their allies in the Obama Administration to convince a Court misleadingly, by all accounts, to spy on the Trump Team.” Tom Fitton, JW

And moments before that, he had claimed that: “The top Leadership and Investigators of the FBI and the Justice Department have politicized the sacred investigative process in favor of Democrats and against Republicans - something which would have been unthinkable just a short time ago. Meanwhile the top Democrat Representative on the House Intelligence committee, Mr Adam Schiff, stated in response that: “It’s clear from the president that this is exactly the purpose behind this cherry-picking of information that Nunes wants to release."
"This is designed to impugn the credibility of the FBI, to undermine the investigation.”
