It’s a disgust to report of sexual assault especially when it’s committed by a teacher. That was the case at a Beloit public school where a teacher was arrested on Tuesday morning.
The teacher has been charged with the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in December 2016. Authorities had an easy time dealing with Jaron K. Dubose, 25, after he turned himself in after being accused of the assault at Beloit Learning Academy, 1033 Woodward Ave.
According to the Rock County district attorney, a charge of second-degree sexual assault of a child is being considered, police revealed.
The authorities started the investigation back in November when the student said she had been sexually assaulted in a classroom at the school for at-risk students in the Beloit School District.
After the results of the investigation were turned over to the district attorney in December with no charges filed, the case was re-opened this month. The move was to a great extent influenced by the discovery of more evidence. Reports unveiled by the police indicate that the district is cooperating with the investigations.
