If Amazon Doesn't Pick Denver, Governor Says

Recently, online retail giant Amazon announced a list of 20 finalists for Amazon's new headquarters but Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper isn't so sure being on the list is a good thing.

Denver was in the list of 20 finalists put out by the company as potential locations for their headquarters but Gov. Hickenlooper said, "I’m not going to cry" if they pick another location. "There will be a sense of relief if they choose somewhere else because there are a lot of challenges and lot of hard work we will be avoiding."

It's funny how whenever it comes to inviting illegals, the Democrats are happy to change the legislature to make it easier for them but when a company brings 50,000 jobs to a city 'it's a problem' because there will be a lot of 'hard work and challenges.'

This position put forward by the Democrat Hickenlooper is the exact reason why the people are losing faith in the political system. There is a systematic failure to put Americans first by the very people whose job it is to look out for our interests.

Ironically, Governor Hickenlooper is one of the state's chief recruiters in the effort to bring the Seattle-based company's $5 billion second home to the Denver area. No wonder Amazon hasn't brought their headquarters to a city like Denver, the politicians are secretly trying to make it as hard as possible.

Now, whether the people of Denver want Amazon coming to their town is something you would have to ask them. The online giant has already announced that the headquarters will bring as many as 50,000 jobs so it has huge potential to employ the local people.

Hickenlooper was previously mayor of Denver and even he warned the civic organization not to speak too quickly against additional business development and growth since he sensed "we are not far away from the tide of public opinion turning."

The people are TIRED of their elected officials not putting their interests first and they know what it's like to live in their communities and they know how badly they need jobs and investment and more people moving there to generate more revenue at their businesses.

Hickenlooper's two-faced modus operandi is the standard in the political world and people have had enough of their elected leaders putting illegals and their own selfish interests ahead of the will of the people.
