Billingham was eating pizza with her father, 54-year-old Bill Billingham when he posted a photo of her eating pizza on Facebook. Moments later, Billingham would stab Mylee repeatedly just 15 minutes after the photo he uploaded of her was posted

Her father was taken into custody with a stab wound to his stomach, it is unclear if he stabbed himself during the murder. He was taken to the hospital and treated while his 8-year-old daughter Mylee would die in of her wounds in another hospital.

Mylee's mother called the police just 15 minutes after the photo of her was uploaded online. The caption of the photo said, "Pitza on bed lv moo x." After her mother discovered what happened to her she told a neighbor "He stabbed my little girl."

A 74-year-old neighbor Graham Greatrex said he comforted Mylee's mother in the aftermath. "I just offered her a warm drink because it was a bitterly cold night," he said. "She just said, 'He's stabbed my little girl'. She was in shock and she couldn't say anything else."

West Midlands Police say the "domestic incident" occurred shortly after 9:15 p.m. A forensics team cordoned off the one-story home in a row of terraced bungalows where the stabbing took place.

Greatrex added that he knew of a man who had been living there for the past six months but didn't know him personally. "It was a bit of a shock. You can't imagine it happening on our doorstep, especially when it's a little girl."

Detective Inspector Jim Colclough, from WMP's homicide unit, said: "We are treating this as a domestic incident and are not looking for anyone else in connection with the child's death."

"Our family liaison team are supporting the family of the little girl, who are naturally devastated by her death. Our thoughts remain with them."
