Serial Airplane Elderly Stowaway Arrested Again at Airport

A woman with a long history of notoriously sneaking aboard planes slipped past security anew at Chicago’s O’ Hare International Airport this week and was on her way to “successfully” flying to London when the airline realized she didn’t have a ticket.

The woman was flown back to Chicago and taken into custody by the authorities once she arrived back. Chicago Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi says the woman identified as Marilyn Hartman is charged with felony theft and a misdemeanor count of criminal trespassing.

Hartman cleverly managed to go past a federal Transportation Security Administration checkpoint at a domestic terminal without a legitimate ticket. The scammer then took a shuttle to the international terminal. A day after that, she boarded a British Airways flight- before she finally got caught.

Hartman, already 66, has attempted several times to board planes without a valid ticket. In 2016, she was already sentenced in Chicago for six months of house arrest and placed on two years of mental health probation.

It is not clear what’s the extent of her mental health condition, but it appears that she’s not doing the offense for lack of money.
