Officials at the Southwest Airlines say a technical outage at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday has been resolved.
The great news has been released and operations have returned to normal at LAX.
"We appreciate customers' patience, and we encourage our LAX customers to check their flight status on Southwest.com," a spokesperson said in a statement.
According to a tweet that was written early on Friday, the outage that the airline experienced was affecting operations, and the airline was working with the airport to resolve the hitch.
The company’s spokesperson said the performance issues were with "systems that support our airport check-in process." The incident temporarily affected inbound and outbound flights.
A statement released by the airline said there was a similar issue in Austin, Texas, although it is not clear as to whether the problem has been sorted out.
