In a bizarre case of brotherly revenge, one 29-year-old man in Yakima, Washington says he burned down his parents house Tuesday for something his brother did to him ten years ago.

Yakima police say Joel Cruz was home alone and became angry at the thought of his brother farting in his face a decade prior. He apparently became so angry over the 10-year-old practical joke he decided to get back at him.
That is when Cruz put a pot of vegetable oil on the stove and turned it on high. Next, he ran out of the building leaving the stove on high with fuel to burn in the pot of oil.
Cruz apparently told Yakima police he heard voices in his head and they sent him for a mental evaluation.
Yakima police say they initially tried to put him in a state hospital but the hospital turned him away because he was a danger to himself and others.
