A man who wore multiple layers of clothing to avoid a luggage fee wasn't allowed on his British Airways flight.
Reports indicate that Ryan Williams, who is also known as Ryan Hawaii, was prevented from flying for having put on eight pairs of trousers and 10 shirts and for rowdiness, according to The Iceland Monitor.
Williams said on Twitter last week that he had no baggage and put “all his clothes on” but wasn’t allowed on the flight at Keflavik International Airport in Iceland.
According to British Airways officials, the airline offered him an alternative flight to London. A statement released by an airline rep said a fee is required for an extra bag. The spokeswoman also said that airline staff explained its policy to the customer. The man said on Twitter that he couldn’t afford the fee.
