Convicted spy Chelsea Manning, known as Bradley Manning before transitioning in prison after her arrest in 2010, took to Twitter yesterday to blast the men and women wearing police uniforms just as many people across the country were recognizing Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
Manning tweeted: "F— the police," and then followed up with "#DisarmThePolice#WeGotThis."
With apparent unsourced statistics, Manning (who received clemency from President Barack Obama and who was released from military prison last May after serving seven years of her 35-year sentence) doubled down on her position afterward.
A lot of conservative voices opposed the tweets, none more so than Mr James Woods, stating: “This dude better hope he never needs a cop”

When Ms Manning later on commented against the police forces again, saying that “police kill hundreds of people every year with absolute impunity,” Mr Woods responded in kind, saying: This guy is such a numbskull. A traitor. And a numbskull.

Miss Manning has used social media platform many times already to slam US forces. Last year on Veterans Day, she tweeted, “Want to support veterans!? Stop sending us overseas to kill or be killed for your nationalist fairy tales. We can do better.”

Where’s the ‘war’ aspect? It implies Manning responded to Woods.
Pointing finger at the Po-Po can't be done with broad brush. Sure, over-militarized cops, sure innocents are sometimes killed. But Mz. Manning Thing is a-hole for commenting as such.
