20-year-old porn star Olivia Nova suddenly died this weekend in Las Vegas.
LA Direct Models, Nova’s agency, confirmed her death in a statement. The cause of the adult actress’ death is still unknown, however. The agency said: “While only represented by Direct Models for a short period of time, we came to know Olivia as a beautiful girl with a very sweet and gentle personality.”
LA Direct Models also said that the family of Nova has been informed of her untimely and shocking death.
The agency further said in their statement: “Another one, way too young, we are beyond shocked and most certainly, it was completely out of the blue.” The agency also added: “Rest in peace, sweet angel.”
Nova was originally from Minnesota and had only started her career in March 2017.
Though still relatively new in the film adult industry, Nova had performed for numerous adult film production houses including Brazzers, Naughty America, FTV Girls, New Sensation and Digital Sin.
Nova’s shocking death becomes the fourth one in a series of shocking deaths of female porn stars that rocked the adult film industry the past three months. Shyla Stylez, 35, August Ames, 23, and Yuri Luv, 31, have all died in the recent months.
Stylez died in her sleep while staying in her mother’s home in British Colombia, Canada.
Just last month, Ames took her own life after she was trolled and received a lot of hatred and vile on social media for her refusal to film a sex scene with a man who had previously been in a gay film porn. Ames defended her decision then as saying she was just protecting herself, but some members of the LGBTQ community furiously slammed her online.
Another adult actress followed the death of Ames- Yuri Luv who died following an alleged drug overdose. She was 31 years old.
