Every year, the latest technology trends that are bound to go global in that year are noticeable at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) event in Las Vegas.
In one of the key products presentations this year, Pizza Hut promised a self-driving delivery car would soon be bringing you your favorite slice of pizza to your door within half an hour after your internet order.
The Netflix series Black Mirror, who famously predicted several events that have taken place in the past years in its series, immediately troll-tweeted the Pizza Hut cooperation with Toyota by stating: ‘we know how this goes…’

In fact, Netflix series' creator Charlie Brooker already creepily and accurately predicted self-driving pizza delivery vans, which play a key role in "Crocodile" (episode three of the latest series) in which a "Fences Pizza" van can be seen delivering to a customer in the street.
After the self-driving van hits someone returning from the delivery, an insurance agent is trying to see whether a claim can be paid out.
This is not the first time fans of the Netflix series point to the future predicting abilities of Mr. Booker. The first ever episode of the show was about the UK Prime Minister and a Pig (we let you look up how UK Prime Minister David Cameron is involved in that one) and just last year in September, Black Mirror’s emoticons presentation were very similar to the ones shown on Apple’s new iPhoneX, launched later that year.
