A man in Florida made an interesting call on New Year's Eve, he called 911 to report a drunk driver, himself.

Polk County authorities say Michael Lest, 39, was arrested for DUI after calling to request he be pulled over. "I'm too drunk," he told the 911 operator while trying to determine his location. "I don't know where I'm at."

Lester is from Winter Haven and told the dispatcher that he was driving on the wrong side of the road. The dispatcher tried to get Lester to pull over and at one point asked where he had been that night.

"Driving around, trying to get pulled over actually," Lester said. Authorities were able to locate Lester and arrest him before he hurt anyone. When deputies pulled him over, he told them he'd only had two beers.

He was charged with DUI and ticked for driving on the wrong side of the road, as well as improper use of the center lane and no seat belt. Lester later told investigators he had more like three or four beers and swallowed meth too.

"Please folks, let this be a lesson to you that DUI is bad-bad-bad because unfortunately, Michael is having a hard time learning this lesson," the sheriff's office said on Facebook.

"He has a criminal history which includes a previous DUI, as well as aggravated battery, drug possession, disorderly conduct, resisting, and hit & run."
