In response to California's failure to comply with federal law, someone out there went to great lengths to have signs created that put out the brutal truth and props to them because these signs like pretty official.

There were several signs just like this one that were made of paper and covered existing metal signs along the 15 Freeway and the 40 Freeway in Needles near the Arizona border. California transportation officials naturally condemned and removed the signs citing they are a danger since they cover emergency numbers.
The creators of the sign have not come forward but good for them for calling it like it is. If you don't think "sanctuary cities" are a problem, just ask the parents of <a href="https://thegoldwater.com/news/10222-Murder-Trial-Begins-For-Illegal-Immigrant-Who-Fatally-Shot-San-Francisco-Woman">Kathryn Steinle,</a> a woman shot to death by an illegal from Mexico who had already been deported several times but was released into San Francisco society by the state despite a detainer from ICE. (By the way, the illegal who shot Steinle was <a href="https://thegoldwater.com/news/13102-KatieSteinle-Americans-On-Social-Media-Outraged-At-Steinle-Verdict>acquitted.</a>)
If the San Francisco authorities had complied with the ICE detainer then the shooter would have been deported instead of set free back into society despite being here illegally. People need to wake up and that is just what these signs are trying to say. These sanctuary cities are not keeping their residents safe when they allow all these illegals, many of whom have lengthy criminal histories, to stay in the city because it's a "sanctuary city."
A sanctuary city for who? The criminals, gangs, rapists and murders who continue to enter the country illegally with no intention of following the law and being a contributing member of society? Is that who these sanctuary cities are protecting? Or should they be protecting the citizens who pay taxes, who are here legally, who work and contribute to society?
These signs are pointing out the painful truth and it's time for people to wake up and realize that our country is being torn apart inch by inch, day by day. California Governor Jerry Brown just made it illegal for state and local law enforcement agencies to use their funds to investigate, detain or arrest people for immigration enforcement purposes.
