With the rise of a disturbing trend of children as young as 3 being urged to "transition", a new club has emerged that targets children and idolizes "drag queens."
What makes this new club so disturbing is not just the fact that it targets children with identity confusing ideology, but the creator of the club is a child himself. The person behind the new club called "Haus of Amazing" is 10-year-old Desmond who goes by Desmond Is Amazing on social media.

Desmond describes "Haus of Amazing" as the "first and only drag club for kids" adding that no adults are allowed. Desmond's efforts to create the new club have been praised by members of the drag community for his avant-garde style and determination to reach out to other kids like him.
In case your wondering, the term drag refers to "drag queens", or men who like to dress up as women. The growing movement seems to be an extension of the transgender community and more about playing dress up and flaunting your style than anything else.

In an interview with the publication Out, Desmond says, "Ever since day one… ever since I was able to walk, I used to take my mom's towels and take her heels and clomp around the house. [I'd] put the towel on my head, wrap a towel around my body and walk the runway down my house."
The images on Desmond's Instagram and the ideas they promote are nothing short of disturbing due to the ages the page seems to be targeting. If someone wants to dress up as a woman and take photos then that is their business, but when you start targeting other children there becomes a real concern for the message it is sending.
The mixed-gender messages of the club could present a highly confusing picture for young children who see the flamboyant costumes as lighthearted entertainment but with brains that aren't fully developed it is likely to have a confusing effect.

The page contains mostly images of Desmond dressed up in women's dresses and floral patterns that seem innocent enough but there is a real question of whether exposing children to this in a forum where there are no adults could lead. Besides the effect the ideas presented by the club could have on children, it is possible for an unmoderated forum for drag children to become a hotbed for pedophiles seeking easy prey.
