Two Kidnappers Caught Sleeping In Their Car After Forcing Victim To Strip

Two thugs accused of kidnapping were arrested after their victim led Atlanta police to a car the criminals were sleeping inside.

Atlanta police say Antonio Clark spotted the blue Hyundai Sonata in the 200 block of Cleveland Avenue on Tuesday and alerted authorities. Clark claimed it was the same gun he was forced into at gunpoint just days prior.

Police initiated contact with the vehicle and found Dwayne Holt, Kenneth Lewis, and James Davis asleep inside with the engine off. Authorities questioned the trio and took Holt and Lewis into custody.

Both Holt and Lewis were arrested on charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping, and armed robbery. Davis told police he "needed to pick someone up" and left the scene but later investigations would reveal he was an accomplice and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The trio of thugs was wanted since Saturday when a shivering and half-naked Clark was found going door to door asking for residents to call the police. Clark said he was kidnapped at gunpoint outside his apartment around 6:40 a.m. Saturday.

Fearing for his safety, Clark complied with the criminals so he wouldn't get shot. During the entire ride, a gun was aimed at him as the suspects drove him to a gas station on Cleveland Avenue before going to a nearby apartment complex.

Police say Clark was then forced out of the car as another man who appeared out of nowhere ordered him to strip. The police report reveals Clark was down to a sweater and torn boxers when the kidnappers took off with his jeans, Nike shoes, wallet, $350, and a cellphone.

They eventually let Clark go and he escaped over a fence into an adjoining neighborhood where he was found by residents with several cuts and abrasions.
