Retired Japanese porn star Sora Aoi has proven once again how popular she has remained despite leaving the industry in 2010 as any big news about her is still creating buzz, especially online. Aoi still commanded attention and interest when she shared the announcement that she will be getting married online, surprising her many former followers and “fans.”
Aoi’s latest news created an impact even in South Korea’s major websites including the biggest portal Naver. It is a testament to Aoi’s lasting popularity even almost eight years since calling it quits from being a much-followed porn star.
Aoi, 34, who now works as a singer in China, announced on her blog and social media accounts on New Year’s Day that she would be getting married. Her soon-to-be husband is identified only as DJ NON. Not many details were known about the man Aoi is set to marry, neither did she share much information about the special man in her life.
The former porn star only said that the most striking characteristic of the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with is that he was able to accept her colorful and controversial past as a porn star. Aoi shared: “He is not handsome and rich. But he accepted what I had done in the past.”
Aoi also reflected and added: “ I don’t regret what I have done. But I know it’s a very serious and important issue to consider when deciding a marriage. So I thought I would marry a person who accepts my past. Given this, he is awesome.”
Aoi also shared photos on her social media account- one, with her showing off her engagement ring, and another with DJ NON as pours wine on her glass, and the lovers smiling and appear to be in high spirits and celebratory mood.
The current singer did not give many details about her would-be wedding ceremony. She did not share the date and the location of her wedding, but for sure the details are something her followers would be waiting for.
