NOKO Shows Off Ballistic Ice Missile At Festival

Never wanting to be outdone by any other country, North Korea decided to host an ice sculpture festival to ring in the New Year in the capital Pyongyang. Star of the spectacle was a rendering of their ballistic missile Hwasong 15 which they claim can hit the mainland USA. Visitors were eager to take pictures alongside the phallus-shaped ice sculpture.

A twitter commenter remarked: ‘I can’t be alone in Thinking that does not look like a missile.’ Well, I can certainly confirm that it does look like something else as well yes.

The ice sculpture display comes just one day after the North Korean dictator stated in a speech that the nuclear launch button which can hit the use "was always on my desk.”

“The entire United States is within range of our nuclear weapons," Mr Kim Jung-Un claimed during a speech on New Year’s Day. As from now, the nuclear button, he claimed, was a "reality, not a threat."

The new year has certainly started in spectacular fashion for the North Koreans so far. With comments of a nuclear button followed by an icy sculpture of a ballistic missile, we can’t really imagine what they will be bringing tomorrow. Little ‘rocket man’ doesn’t cease to surprise.
