A new year means a lot of good resolutions. Mostly those come in the form of ‘I’ll quit smoking’ or ‘This year I won’t be single anymore’ and ‘I’ll spend more time with the family.’ But the most popular resolution, the one that comes out on top every year, is still ‘let’s lose a few kilos.’
Gyms know this very well, so membership to their fitness classes spikes in January, where you’ll sign up with lots of high hopes for a 6-months to 1-year membership and by the third week of January, most of you will give up. Yes, really. Sorry for that bittersweet taste of reality.
One New York gym has decided that in order to stand out apart from the others it would offer something radically different, and so Hanson Fitness, which claims to have such celebrity clients as Rihanna, Julia Roberts and Tom Cruise amongst its clientele, is offering ‘nude personal training.’
As from 5 January 2018, the fitness studio will offer three naked sessions per week: one for only women, one for only men, and one mixed.
According to the gym’s press release, the class will be a “total body workout that uses your body weight as resistance to work the glute, butt, legs, and core. Making you look and feel good naked.”
Even though naked yoga has become quite the trend lately, the naked gym is still something new. Therefore, should guests be uncomfortable, some nude-colored underwear is still permitted in the beginning, with Hanson studio founder Harry Hanson explaining: “Our approach makes sure our members get and stay in the absolute best shape, and our new naked personal fitness sessions are no exception. This new development brings with it a range of fitness and health benefits and allows our members to have a little cheeky fun in the process!”
