Matt Drudge is one of the most iconic, yet elusive figures in the media. To catch Matt Drudge publicly speaking for any reason is slim to none if you're fortunate enough to ever witness it happening; but he decided to come forth today in order to give praise to the President of the United States of America
Yet despite the rarity of the founder of<a href="https://www.drudgereport.com"><i> “The Drudge Report” </i></a>in coming forward, he decided today that he'd give an analysis of President Trump's current approval rating, as reported by the<a href="https://m.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/political_updates/prez_track_dec28"> Rasmussen Poll</a>.

Keep in mind when Matt Drudge does speak, he's usually one of the most impartial and honest men in the industry, and as a result of this he's garnished respect from both the left and the right.
According to the poll, President Trump has an equal rating to that of Barack Obama after his first year in office.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 29% who Strongly Approve of the way the president is performing and 44% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15.
Again, those numbers are identical to what was reported about Barack Obama.
That's a really narrative-busting reality for the left, who often attempts to portray the President of the United States of America as being despised, and that's simply untrue.
Take into consideration that a<a href="https://www.journalism.org/2017/10/02/covering-president-trump-in-a-polarized-media-environment/"> Pew Research </a>poll recently revealed that around 5% total of the media's coverage of the President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, is positive
Not to mention the majority of Trump Supporters I've spoken to, the day that they have never once been polled; which leads me to believe the poll result could be even higher than reported.
Despite that potential, Drudge runs off evidence and facts and gave a great analysis of the poll, essentially telling the fake news media “you cannot dispute these numbers which rival Barack Obama”.
It's a much-needed reality check from the mainstream media, to have Matt Drudge counter their narrative with a fair and on-point response.
President Trump has numerous victories after year one, and it most certainly appears as if the sky's the limit currently via the momentum coming from the recently passed tax reform, heading into 2017.
At least we know Matt Drudge is witnessing there endless victories, enough so that he came out of the darkness into the light to acknowledge all of this endless winning.
