Retired Boxing Champion Floyd Mayweather got trolled on Twitter recently by his last opponent, Irish MMA star Conor McGregor. The two flamboyant showmen, able to make a spectacle out of anything, can even make a twitter trolling interesting, apparently.
It all started when Dana White, the UFC President, appeared on an ESPN show where he had spoken of a possibility for Floyd Mayweather to appear in the UFC as a fighter.
Mr White said: “We’re talking to Floyd about doing a UFC deal. It’s real.”
To which the ESPN reporter asked: "He was talking about boxing Conor McGregor. Was that real? Have you heard Floyd talk about many things that aren’t real?"
The UFC President responded: "He usually tips his hand when he’s in the media and then that s* ends up happening. We’re interested in doing something with Floyd. Everything is a realistic possibility. Mayweather versus McGregor f**** happened. Anything is possible.”

A follow-up ESPN tweet then asked: "What if Floyd Mayweather decided to trade his boxing gloves for UFC gloves?," to which McGregor eagerly tweeted in response "Virgin ears."
A few days later, when Mayweather was asked about the UFC appearance rumours again, he answered: “So, I’m just saying, I could make a billion in the UFC. I’m not doing it. But I’m saying, what I could do is make a billion dollars quick if I wanted to do that. That’s what I was saying.”
McGregor sent a direct response to Mayweather after simply tweeting “Pussy.”
Although no context is given to the tweet, anyone could pretty quickly figure out who it was meant for.
