Video - VP Pence Discusses Historical Tax Cuts

Vice President Mike Pence sat down for an interview to discuss the biggest tax reform since the 1980s, during a day when multiple US companies announced that they would be immediately handing out bonuses to American workers as a Christmas bonus, just as President Trump had promised.

The Indiana native stated that the passing of the tax reform bill was obviously a 'middle-class miracle' and that he and President Donald Trump are 'just getting started.'

With 3% growth and new US stock market highs week on week, Mr Pence hoped that the public could accept that economic foresight and planning of the current White House administration was absolutely working.

“To be here for the largest tax cut in the history of the country, the kind of tax reform we haven't seen for 31 years, and at the same time to repeal the individual mandate in Obamacare and open up ANWR to environmentally responsible drilling is just humbling for me to be a part of.”

“When the American people start to see more in their paychecks in February, they're going to start to realize that the president's vision, is going to sell itself.”

In the interview with Fox News' Laura Ingraham, Mr Pence stressed, as he always does, that his was only a small part and that it was 'humbling' to have played a part in the greatest tax reform bill ever.

The tax reform bill also included legislation which will allow oil drilling and other energy development in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, lifting a development ban that had been in place for the past 40 years, thus creating more American jobs.

Lastly, Mr Pence stated once again his surprise that none of the Democrats were willing to vote for lower taxes and said he was “very grateful for the president's strong leadership.”
