People in Weld County reported a massive explosion Monday night. Shortly after, Fort Lupton Press reported that a fifth wheel trailer carrying fireworks exploded.

Around 8:11 p.m., the Weld County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of an explosion near Frederick, Colorado. When they arrived at the scene, deputies discovered a fifth wheel trailer carrying fireworks had exploded.
The vehicle erupted in flames but authorities confirmed the truck was not carrying gas or other flammable liquids. Two males, a 20-year-old and a 70-year-old were taken to an area hospital but the extent of their injuries is unclear.
Both victims are expected to survive with non life threatening injuries.
