Pizza Hut Offering $10,000 Reward After Delivery Driver Found In His Own Trunk

Pizza Hut in Wichita, Kansas is offering a $10,000 Reward for information that could lead to the arrest of the person responsible for killing Hasan Rahman, a 26-year-old of Bengali descent. Rahman was a delivery driver for Pizza Hut but was found dead in the trunk of his own car on November 26 near the 7800 block of E. Pagent.

Wichita police say Rahman didn't appear to be robbed but they have little to no leads in the case. Kym Money is Pizza Hut's Director Of Marketing and she said, "You feel helpless with these things. This is a tangible expression of our grief." The Wichita/Sedgwick County Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of $2,500.

Police say a woman called to report a suspicious character in a vehicle in the 7800 block of E. Pagent on Sunday, November 26. Police arrived to find a man dead with a gunshot wound in the trunk of the vehicle. Rahman and his vehicle were reported missing on Saturday, November 25.

The person who called in the suspicious character to police lives across the street from where the car was found. He says he went to his out of town neighbors house around 8:30 to feed the man's dog and that is when his wife found the man's body. Investigators are ruling the death a homicide.

If you have any information relating to this crime you can report it to Crime Stoppers at (316) 267-2111.
