Law enforcement in Gastonia, North Carolina say they've taken a violent animal off the streets to help ensure the safety of civilians due to his extremely dangerous and perverse behavior.
Witnesses described seeing the black male suspect violenting choking a minor child, and they contacted police as it was happening.
One local Good Samaritan approached the vehicle where the suspect was standing next to, and told him he was calling police, prompting the criminal to take off on foot.
When police arrived, the child told them that his mother was tied up in an abandoned house nearby, where they later found the unidentified female.
She told authorities that her and her son were kidnapped, that she had been raped, and beaten by the man.
After reviewing security footage outside the parking lot where the choking occurred, they were able to match the suspect to a potential criminal line-up, where the victim was able to identify the perpetrator.
According to police, 33-year-old Henry Theodis Bristow, of Gastonia, is now facing charges of felony second-degree forcible sex offense and misdemeanor assault on a child under 12.
He was apprehended at 924 Shannon Bradley Road, in Gastonia, after authorities tracked him down to that residence, although his<a href="https://bustednewspaper.com/nc-court-records--bristow--henry--theodis"> prior arrest reports show multiple residencies </a>listed for him.

Law enforcement says that Henry Theodis Bristow has a violent criminal history, including serving nearly three years in a state prison following a robbery with a dangerous weapon conviction in 2005, as reported by the<a href="http://www.gastongazette.com/news/20171211/man-charged-with-sexual-assault-choking-child"> Gaston Gazette</a>.
He's was detained and later posted a bail of $30,000 as well as given a future court date to appear before a Judge.
