Many Times Asshole Schumer Supports Moving the Embassy to Jerusalem

President Trump's move Wednesday to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the US embassy to the holy city prompted international debate and protests across the world.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange commented on the issue noting that "every Democrat in the Senate from Chuck Schumer to Elizabeth Warren demanded Trump move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem." Assange cited a legislation record from six months ago revealing how each senator voted on the matter.

Among those who support the move to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is Democratic party member Chuck Schumer. Senator Schumer even advised Trump to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem prompting fellow left-wing figures to attack him for his pro-Israel stance.

Senator Schumer even criticized the Trump administration for delaying the move saying, "President Trump’s recent comments suggest his indecisiveness on the embassy’s relocation."

Schumer went on to say, "As someone who strongly believes that Jerusalem is the undivided capital of Israel, I am calling for the US Embassy in Israel to be relocated to Jerusalem. Moving the embassy as soon as possible would appropriately commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of Jerusalem’s reunification and show the world that the US definitively acknowledges Jerusalem as Israel’s capital."

In an interview with former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee in October, President Trump expressed a need for careful consideration before announcing the move, "I want to give that a shot before I even think about moving the embassy to Jerusalem."

Wednesday, President Trump finally announced the U.S. would officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and would begin preparations to move the U.S. embassy to the holy city.
