Breaking news coming out of Miami-Dade County, Florida where both federal, state, and local authorities are on the scene of a small plane crash that has left at least one person dead.
Multiple rescue crews were dispatched to the site of the downed plane in Southwest Miami-Dade County on Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened in an open area near Southwest 121st Street and Southwest 157th Avenue around three to four miles from Miami Executive Airport (known until 2014 as Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport), according to<a href="https://www.local10.com/news/florida/miami-dade/small-plane-crashes-in-southwest-miami-dade-county"> Local 10</a>.

The National Transportation Safety Board will be handling the rest of the investigation involving the crash to determine what caused the incident.
The name of the deceased has yet to be released and there is currently no word if they were alone on the flight.
