Law enforcement in Houston, Texas say they found a naked woman's body that is now being investigated as a homicide and an attempt to hide her body afterward.
Police say they discovered the naked corpse of a 24-year-old White female, Jennifer Nicole Mamo, that had been dumped into the creek near Birnam Wood in North Harris County.
According to prosecutors, her 29-year-old boyfriend, Jasper Davis, a Black male, was responsible for her death.

Davis was questioned by police after Mamo’s body was found in the woods along the creek bed, and he actually confessed to dumping her there but claims the homicide was accidental.
During an interrogation, Davis to authorities that he and Mamo were at a bar where they were arguing over him allegedly flirting with another woman.
The dispute lasted until they were home alone, where Davis claims that Mamo grabbed a gun and began struggling with him over it before it fired, shooting her in the face, blowing off part of her skull.
After Davis dumped her body, his car then became stuck in the creek, causing him to freak out, and calling a friend for help.
Once the friend arrived at the scene and saw Mamo’s body, he refused to help Davis and called emergency 911 for assistance.
Mamo was also a mother, to a seven-month-old child, who was in the same bedroom where Davis shot and killed her.

Police say that Davis abandoned the child to go and hide the body and the 7-month-old was found several hours later alone inside of the home.
Sickening individual, and apparently Mamo paid the ultimate toll for the decision she made to date Davis, to begin with.
Authorities have since charged Jasper Davis with first degree homicide, according to ABC13.
There's a common theme in these situations in which I'm reporting to you today, although I can't quite put my finger on exactly what that is. I guess you'll have to think for yourself.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office reported the following:

”On Friday, 12.08.2017, at approximately 6:30 A.M., Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office conducted a Welfare Check at 19447 Archer Glen Dr, in the Remington Ranch Subdivision. Deputies received information that the resident, Jasper Davis, killed his girlfriend, (Jennifer Nicole Mamo) “Nikki”, placed her in the trunk of his car, and was attempting to dispose of her body. When deputies arrived on the scene, Davis’ vehicle was gone, and they did not receive an answer at the door. While Deputies were still on the scene, they received a second call advising Davis was en route to a relative’s residence, located at 2303 W. Tidwell. Sheriff’s Deputies and Houston Police Officers located Davis and his vehicle at the apartment complex. “Nikki” was not in the car. Deputies learned from relatives that Davis left his 7-month-old daughter alone at his residence on Archer Glen. Davis was detained and transported to the Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit. Deputies made entry into Davis’ residence and located the 7-month-old daughter, alone, but unharmed. Deputies learned that early Friday morning, Davis called a relative to the 20900 Blk of Birnamwood BL at Turkey Creek, to pull his vehicle out of the mud. Deputies searched the area along Turkey Creek and recovered Jennifer “Nikki” Moma’s body.”
