West Midlands Fire Service responded to call of a man who was trapped in a microwave, that's right. Friends of a 22-year-old had to feed an air tube to their friend to keep him from suffocating after they cemented a microwave on his head.

Watch Commander Shaun Dakin pointed out the potential for disaster that was luckily thwarted by first responders, "could quite easily have suffocated or have been seriously injured. He and a group of friends had mixed seven bags of Polyfilla which they then poured around his head, which was protected by a plastic bag inside the microwave."
Dakin went on to say, "The oven was being used as a mold and wasn't plugged in. The mixture quickly set hard and, by the time we were called, they'd already been trying to free him for an hour and a half." A technical rescue team was required to disassemble the microwave and remove the man's head from what was to be his cement filled coffin.
Dakin also added, "It took us nearly an hour to free him. All of the group involved were very apologetic, but this was clearly a call-out which might have prevented us from helping someone else in genuine, accidental need"
