Mother in California Kills 4-Year-Old Son, then Herself

Law enforcement in Rancho Cucamonga, California have stumbled upon a tragic death of an innocent young child and a woman who were found inside of their apartment complex deceased.

According to police, the woman is the 29-year-old mother of the child, who is believed to be just four years of age, and during the investigation, deputies came to believe that the 29-year-old mother killed her son and then killed herself.

“Investigators believe the female killed the child and then took her own life,” according to the news release given to local media<a href=""> KTLA</a>.

Police say that the neighbors are shocked about the discovery at the Avana Rancho Cucamonga Apartment Complex, located on the 10400 block of Arrow Route, west of Haven Avenue.

Complaints of a foul odor coming from a Rancho Cucamonga Apartment to the maintenance crew led them to contact police which were absolutely stunned to discovery of the bodies of a 4-year-old boy and a 29-year-old female Wednesday that San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies are calling a murder-suicide, according to a sheriff’s news release.

Deputies went to the complex at 11:34 AM following the complex maintenance staff call, and were horrified after making entry into the apartment and first finding the deceased child who was described as being “too young to have died this way”.
