A man broke into a sex shop and brazenly stole a life-size sex doll. Now, cops are hunting him down.
Authorities in Moorabbin, Australia says the sex doll stolen named Dorothy is worth more than $3,000. It was stolen from the Sexyland store over the weekend.
The investigators reviewed the store’s surveillance cameras and footage reveals a man with stockings pulled over his head pulling into the car park in the shop driving a white Ford Transit around 6 a.m. on Sunday. The man used cutters to hack through as the fence so he could open and enter the store.
It is not clear if the investigators were able to establish the vehicle’s license plate that could help track down the suspect.
The CCTV footage shows the man entering Sexyland before going back to the car park already clutching the 5 feet and 5 inches tall doll under his arm.
He threw the doll into the back of his van before taking off.
Investigators have released the images to ask the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. They have also released images of Dorothy so that anyone who may see it can contact them for crucial details and information that could lead to the suspect.
The suspect is described by investigators as a man with a solid build and was wearing a dark-colored jumper at the time of the incident with a red stripe across the chest, dark colored pants and dark colored casual shoes with white laces.
It is still unknown if the suspect intended to sell the sex doll, or stole it for his personal pleasure. Regardless of his motives, the investigators are determined to arrest him and file robbery charges against him.
It is not clear if similar burglary incidents have taken place in the same store.
