FBI and Jacksonville Sheriff Allegedly Stop Mass Shooting Event at Islamic Center in Florida

Authorities in Florida say that they've stalled a mass shooting plot in progress that was set to occur at a Jacksonville Islamic Center.

The alleged perpetrator, a 69-year-old retiree, is now in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, after planning the attack apparently in coordination with undercover FBI Agents to take place at the Islamic Center of Northeast Florida, 2333 St. Johns Bluff Rd. South.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, along with the FBI of Jacksonville, says that Bernandino Gawala Bolatete became under their microscope of the investigation back in October after the JSO received a tip he was planning the mass casualty event.

The source told police that Bolatete expressed strong anti-Islamic sentiment, and how he'd like to shoot and kill as many people at the center as possible.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, at least one of their undercover Sheriff's Detectives met with Bolatete who confirmed that he indeed wanted to commit the mass shooting.

Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said that during the time of the investigation that Bolatete not only acquired the weaponry necessary to commit the mass shooting but carefully plotted and planned each step he needed to make to fulfill the process.

Included in the multiple laws that Bolatete violated, were that he ordered and received a silencer to his home on December 1st, which is a banned accessory.

After that delivery, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office then obtained a search warrant and alongside the SWAT Team raided the home of Bolatete located on the 13000 block of Eucalyptus Drive in Jacksonville.

The raid has brought in mixed reactions from locals, many of whom believe the FBI may have coerced Bolatete into committing the crime; a typical tactic used by the FBI in such domestic terror investigations to give the impression they are defeating terrorism.

It seems incredibly disturbing that one man would intentionally plot to commit this attack, and that he would suddenly learn all of the ways and means necessary to acquire specific banned and illegal weapons; but that information will be considered sealed as a matter of National Security, which is common in FBI cases.

Bolatete is now in FBI custody and he's been charged with knowingly receiving and possessing a silencer not registered to him in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record.

For the record, there's no such thing as a “silencer”, it's actually a “suppressor”, but of course treasures, Federal Bureau of Investigation, filled with Marxists who love the idea of removing American Citizen's rights, carefully word their press releases.

I'm not saying Bolatete is innocent. He clearly (just like the majority of us) dislikes Islamic terrorists being in America.

That being said, I don't trust the Federal Bureau of Investigation any more than I trust the Islamic terrorists themselves, and in my opinion, such an investigation should come under great scrutiny as to the lengths the FBI went to in order to push this man to plan this shooting.

The investigation is considered as still ongoing, and future charges could arise from the stem of the remaining searches of Bolatete’s properties and electronic transmissions.

According to the indictment, after the undercover operative sold Bolatete a silencer for $100 last week, he was arrested on a federal weapons violation. At this point that is the only criminal charge against him, but it carries a maximum penalty to up to 10 years in prison.

In a transcript of the conversations included in the criminal complaint, Bolatete said he had five rifles, one an AR-15 that can be converted to the AR-47. He suggested going to the Islamic center on a Friday because it is "their Sunday equivalent to us Christians is Friday … go up to the tower and start shooting, right? It will be great, right?"

“The investigation confirmed the suspect was planning on carrying out a mass shooting and he already had the weaponry necessary to carry out the attack,” Sheriff Williams said.

Ashraf Shaikh, chairman of the Islamic Center of Northeast Florida's board of trustees, said he is aware of periodic threats made to the center during his 40-plus years in Jacksonville and is thankful that nothing like this has ever happened.

“It's very sad that something like this was being planned or threatened in Jacksonville,” Shaikh said. “Thank God that out law enforcement (agencies) were vigilant, that they got wind of it and handled it very professionally.”

According to the criminal complaint filed by the U.S. Attorney's Office on Friday, Bolatete repeated expressed his hatred of Muslims. Bolatete said that while he lived in the Philippines, he got into an argument with a police officer. Bolatete told the undercover detective that the policeman shot him, so he fired back and killed the officer.

A former co-worker of Bolatete told<a href="http://www.firstcoastnews.com/mobile/article/news/local/data/crime/fbi-jacksonville-man-arrested-for-plotting-mass-shooting-at-islamic-center/77-496753289"> First Coast News </a>that it was a “huge shock” to learn of his arrest for plotting to shoot up the Islamic Center.

“He’s a sweet old man who wouldn’t hurt a fly,” she said, adding he would never say anything about hating Muslims.

Always question everything authorities tell you folks, especially the FBI, where at least in leadership roles, are the enemy of the people of this country.

Are there Patriotic agents in the FBI? Absolutely.

Are there corrupt globalist plants and those who wish to pursue international Communism and further purvey cultural Marxism? More than a few folks, let me assure you.

Hats off to the agents working tirelessly to protect the Constitution, but at this point, the FBI cannot be trusted, with far too many failures to bring elites to justice and far too many convictions of innocent people in their history many of whom they pressured into plotting similar events, as well as the decades of murder cover-ups for their own informants including those under the helping hand of the likes of Robert Mueller with the Whitey Bulger case.
