Reports are flooding in with breaking news coming out of the Memorial City Mall in Houston, Texas that show extreme police presence and pandemonium after shots were fired by what appears to be an active-shooter situation.
Eyewitnesses on the ground have stated they've heard multiple gunshots at the Memorial City Mall where law enforcement agencies from several jurisdictions have taken to the ground securing a perimeter around the mall and nearby facilities in search of the shooter.

It was not immediately clear if anyone was wounded and police declined to offer more information beyond saying it was "pretty big chaos" and a "possible active shooter."

At this time it remains unknown if there are any fatalities or injuries but the Houston Police Department are urging everyone in the area to avoid the mall and if you're inside to seek cover immediately.
