Ivanka Trump Makes A Pitch On How Pro-Women Her Father Is

Debunking allegations by her father's opponents and critics that Donald Trump is sexist and anti-women, Ivanka comes out

in a TV advertisement proclaiming that on the contrary, the Republican nominee, in fact, values women through proposed policies that will benefit them and their families.

Ivanka, the eldest daughter of Trump, herself a mother of three small children, says in the commercial that she believes being a mother is the most important job a woman can have and that being the case, mothers should not be taking a pay cut.

" Donald Trump understands the needs of a modern workforce. My father will change outdated labor laws so that they support women and American families. He will provide tax  credits for child care, paid maternity leave and dependent-care savings accounts. This will allow women to support their families and further their careers", Ivanka proudly states in the TV ad.

Ivanka played a crucial part in the drafting of the affordable child-care policy her father introduced in

 mid-September.

" We need working mothers to be fairly compensated for their work and to have access to affordable, quality child-care for their kids", Donald Trump said when he unveiled his child-care policy then.

Political observers have always regarded Trump's eldest daughter, Ivanka, as one of his most effective endorsers, and someone who can contribute positively in his quest to win more female voters. Some even refer to Ivanka as Trump's

" secret weapon."

Ivanka, herself an entrepreneur and executive at her father's real estate business, has often been described  glowingly as " classy", " poised", " thoughtful" , "composed", " beloved" and " brilliant".

The TV ad shows Donald Trump in lighter, gentler fashion:  thoughtfully embracing women and fondly playing with his

grandchildren.

Insiders say the ad was a smash hit when it was shown to a focus group, as it resonates with the concerns of women and

their families.

Ivanka's ad is scheduled to run nationally next week, with prominence in cable networks known to have huge women following such as Lifetime, Bravo, TLC and OWN ( Oprah  Winfrey Network).  It is also slated to be shown in top prime-time programs as Dancing with the Stars, Grey's Anatomy, How To Get Away With Murder, Madam Secretary and The Voice.
