The Democratic Party lost the 2016 election cycle, but that hasn't stopped them from both throwing tantrums like preschool children and endangering America as a whole due to their anguish and sore losing mentality.
Both Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi were invited to the White House to discuss a multitude of issues including the ever looming DACA “Dreamers” program that is set to end entirely, and the upcoming fiscal spending agreements, but both backed out at the last minute threatening to shut down to the federal government if they didn't get their way.
President Trump tweeted on Tuesday morning that he would be meeting with the leftist pair, but said himself he didn't see a deal possible.

Meeting with “Chuck and Nancy” today about keeping government open and working. Problem is they want illegal immigrants flooding into our Country unchecked, are weak on Crime and want to substantially RAISE Taxes. I don’t see a deal!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 28, 2017

Instead of even trying, the Democrats backed out at the final moments risking American security and safety with the potential for an all-out shutdown.
“Given that the President doesn't see a deal between Democrats and the White House, we believe the best path forward is to continue negotiating with our Republican counterparts in Congress instead,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a joint statement. “Rather than going to the White House for a show meeting that won't result in an agreement, we've asked Leader McConnell and Speaker Ryan to meet this afternoon.”
The White House is also meeting in the afternoon with several members of Congress, including the top Republican leaders, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan, according to CNBC.
“The president’s invitation to the Democrat leaders still stands, and he encourages them to put aside their pettiness, stop the political grandstanding, show up and get to work. These issues are too important,” said Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.
It's apparent at this point, that the Democrats, while virtue signaling about saving DACA recipients are unwilling to make a deal with the President of the United States of America in order to fund the border wall and simultaneously keep DACA recipients inside of America.
The President is willing to negotiate, but Chuck and Nancy would rather all Americans suffer instead.
Pathetic, to say the least.
In the end, the Democrats are really going to suffer as they fail to make any progress and save the DACA recipients at all.
Soon the deadline will expire, more Republicans will be replaced in primaries, and President Trump will eventually get the funding with or without the left to build the border wall and all of those people will be sent back to where they belong.
You had your chance, Chuck and Nancy.
