Authorities in Beijing have finally detained a party responsible for the abuse and mutilation of children occurring at a kindergarten run by RYB Education Inc. China's childcare industry is booming and all eyes are on the drama unfolding in this latest scandal at the kindergarten of horrors.

Police in the Chaoyang district are investigating the claims of abuse one of China's most prominent news agency's reported on children coming home from the daycare with several needle marks and other injuries, some even suspected their children experienced sexual molestation at the kindergarten.
The Chaoyang district police have confirmed they detained a 22-year-old teacher with the surname of Liu of the Hebei province near Beijing. They have also arrested another person with the same surname for allegedly disrupting social order by spreading false information about the alleged abuse at the kindergarten.
The shares of the kindergarten company RYB plummeted 38.4 percent on the bad news of the scandal which sparked outrage from the public. The company operated 80 kindergartens and had an additional 175 franchised in over 100 cities and towns in China. The recent scandal has caused the Chaoyang district to launch an investigation into all childcare facilities in the area.
Some parents said their children, some as young as 3, recounted naked adult males conducting "medical check-ups" on unclothed students. No charges have been levied against the suspects yet but the investigation still continues.
