Trump may just have found a “new sister” to bond with and serve as a close ally in supporting her father, President Donald Trump, as an insider says White House Communications director Hope Hicks “loves President Trump like a father.”
Former Trump campaign digital director Brad Parscale made the suggestion. Parscale shared his views in an interview with Newsweek. He said: “She has a great ‘Trump radar’ in understanding how he thinks. She loves him like a father in some ways and I think that is an important loyalty to the family.”
29-year-old Hicks was named the youngest ever White House communications director in September, a role which at first she fulfilled in an interim basis after the firing of Anthony Scaramucci in July.
Parscale continued: “I think she truly believes in Mr. Trump and his mission and his agenda, and I think she loves the Trump family. Being family and being treated like family allows you to deal with a lot more things you wouldn’t do for just a job or money.”
Parscale also praised Hicks’ work ethics and said she “was always a stable force.” He said she keeps on delivering and getting the job done without asking for anything in return.
Hicks first served as a public relations assistant to Ivanka, until she was “pirated” by President Trump to serve as his campaign’s press secretary in 2015.
Parscale also described that Hicks and the President have developed a relationship together, emphasizing that Trump is very rewarding to those who show him loyalty and those that deliver results.
Hicks, perhaps due to her closeness with Trump and his family has also caught the attention of special counsel Robert Mueller for the probe on the alleged interference of Russia in the 2016 presidential election. Hicks was scheduled to be interviewed by federal investigators after the president’s return from his visit to Asia.
