The Atlanta-based rapper who was reported missing last week has been found- unfortunately what was discovered by the authorities was his lifeless body already, along with that of his companion.
The Macon County Sheriff’s Department said that the bodies of Edward Reeves, 29, known as Bambino Gold, and Kendrick Stokes, 30, known as Skooly Kee Da Tooly, were found on Friday and Saturday morning.
The first body was found Friday night in a wooded area off County Road 13. The second body was discovered the next morning in the woods off Highway 80, about 4 miles away from where the first body was found.
The two were first reported missing on November 7. They were last heard from two days before that, in November 5.
Reese’s girlfriend admitted to local media that she last heard from her boyfriend the Sunday before. She requested that she be not named in the interview, and shared that when they last talked over the phone, Reeves appeared to be doing fine. She said, “’like nothing was wrong with him. I’m trying to not think about nothing being wrong. I’m trying to think positive.”
Reeves traveled to Alabama from Atlanta with his cousin to visit a friend and were supposed to return days later. Only a few days after they left Atlanta, the two became unreachable. Reeves’ girlfriend said she filed a missing persons’ report when the cousins stopped answering their phones or posting on social media.
Police said the two were driving a white 2016 Honda CVR with a Georgia license plate.
Fans of Bambino Gold also posted their messages of concern on social media.
The authorities have yet to give more complete details whether the two died or were killed and how, and who the possible suspects are.
