Another homicide investigation is now underway in Memphis, Tennessee, which is becoming a recurring theme for the city.
Investigators say that an SUV carrying five people, including a 12-year-old child and a 10-year-old child was outside or a Church's Chicken restaurant in South Memphis at 2405 Airways Boulevard near the intersections Airways and Ketchum, when a dark colored Chrysler sedan began firing into the vehicle.

A witness who works at the Church's Chicken, 25-year-old Larry Taylor said, “I heard about 10 shots, boom, boom, boom. Car went that way.” As he pointed as if indicating eastbound on Ketchum.
One adult female was struck by the gunfire, a twelve-year-old was also hit, and a ten-year-old was killed.
Officer Louis C. Brownlee of the Memphis Police Department pleaded with the public for any information on who could have killed this child and opened fire on a vehicle filled with an entire family.

“I mean, it breaks your heart, you know,” Brownlee said. “A child has done nothing to no one.”
At this time there are no leads in the case, and authorities desperately need help from the public to solve this homicide.

Again this is another sign of how a once luxurious southern city has been overrun by criminal black gang violence that continues to claim the lives of children and bystanders.
