Authorities in DeBary, Florida have arrested a man who was creating a weapon of mass destruction. Police discovered several explosive devices along with 200 containers of acids, unknown powers, and other materials including bodily fluids at his residence.

But he also had all the ingredients to make bombs pic.twitter.com/wq6ttwr8dP
— Volusia Co. The weapon of mass destruction was discovered after the man's parents called the police to report a domestic disturbance after their son threatened them with a grenade. 31-year-old Christopher Langer was arrested after police found the grenade outside where he said they would. Officials noted he was intoxicated and ordered the home evacuated.

After the home was evacuated, a search of the home commenced and that is when the bomb-making materials were discovered by investigators. They also found a Spongebob Square pants lunchbox in the backyard being used as a booby trap. It took the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives all night to work through the scene and secured at least 79 dangerous materials in a special containment area.

Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood said, "That domestic violence call probably saved us from making the national and international news. He has all the components in there to make a weapon of mass destruction." Police believe Langer wanted to "get even" with first responders after they were called to his home and revived during a heroin overdose.

Chitwood described Langer as an anti-government heroin addict saying, "Two weeks ago, we saved your goddamn life, and now we're here, two weeks later, and you're talking about how you want to blow us all up."
