All three victims were Chinese college students. A 22-year-old man and two 23-year-old women. Currently, the driver's name has not yet been released to the public but local media have reported the man is known to suffer from a psychiatric disorder. The man responsible for the vehicular attack has no history of terrorism but has been under supervision for severe psychological issues in the past.
I don't know about you, but I keep wondering if police "knew of him" if this could be the same "mentally deranged" person who attacked several people with a knife after shouting Allahu Ackbar. The last "deranged attack" in Toulouse was also a known psychiatric patient.
