Two are seriously injured after a driver in Toulouse, France rammed his vehicle into a group of students gathered outside of a high school. The driver claims "voices in his head told him to." Among the injured are two Chinese students who are seriously injured, a third was also hurt. Police have since apprehended the driver who was arrested. The driver is said to have been suffering from acute schizophrenia. The driver is known to police but was not on any sort of security watch list. He admitted that voices in his head urged him to hurt people during the arrest procedure.

All three victims were Chinese college students. A 22-year-old man and two 23-year-old women. Currently, the driver's name has not yet been released to the public but local media have reported the man is known to suffer from a psychiatric disorder. The man responsible for the vehicular attack has no history of terrorism but has been under supervision for severe psychological issues in the past.

I don't know about you, but I keep wondering if police "knew of him" if this could be the same "mentally deranged" person who attacked several people with a knife after shouting Allahu Ackbar. The last "deranged attack" in Toulouse was also a known psychiatric patient.
