San Francisco Police Department confirmed that they had now arrested (Iraqi born) Mr. Ali Alkoraishie (a gay porn star/go-go dancer who worked under the name Ali Liam) in relation with the stabbing of his 48-year-old boyfriend Mr. Keith Harris.
This Monday, authorities were called to the apartment of Mr. Harris by Mr. Paul Novales, who manages the Estrella Apartments at 340 Hayes Street after neighbors had said they had not seen Mr. Harris leave his apartment for several days. When Mr. Novales opened the door, he found “big drops” of blood “on the floor and smears of blood on the wall and the door going into the bathroom.”
Mr. Novales walked away without touching anything and then called 911: “I didn’t even step in, I knew it was bad so I called 911.”
Mr. Alkoraishie Ali, who is also known as Othman Al-Muttalaby and Ali Liam, 26-year-old, is now being treated at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Police have not revealed which injuries he suffered or even whether these could have been self-inflicted.
Party promoter Mr. Gus Bean, who manages the club where Ali dances, said he had no idea what had happened between them: “Keith’s an absolute sweetheart, the sweetest guy ever. Ali seemed like a really sweet guy.”
According to Ali’s family in Baghdad, they had not heard from their son for about three weeks but did mention that he had expressed suicidal thoughts because he missed his mother so much.
A colleague of Mr. Harris, Ms. Holly Richards explained that she last saw him on October 31 when he was in good spirits. When asked about his relationship with Ali, she said: “I think they just had normal relationship quarrels here and there, but I don’t think Keith was ever abused.”
