A St Louis’s man traffic stop video has become a viral sensation as it turns out the scene could be pulled out of any movie dealing with police brutality. The victim in question Mr Scott Smith, even stated that he recalls seeing an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where the exact same thing happens.
Last week, Mr Smith and two of his co-workers were returning from a work lunch when they honked at a traffic light to the driver in front of them who didn’t move at a green light. The simple honk seems to have made a St. Louis cop so mad that he told Mr Scott he was getting a ticket for “excessive noise.”
The wild ordeal happened at a red light at South 12th Street and Geyer Avenue.

“The light turned green and the car in front of me just sat there,” Mr Smith said. “So I honked once and he started to scoot forward, then just like hit his brakes real hard. So I honked again and he started to go forward and kinda threw his arms up, but wasn’t really moving, still just blocking the way.”
Mr Smith admits he then “just laid on the horn for a minute.”
Moments later the undercover police officer in front of him turned on his lights and pulled him over.
The police officer, clearly agitated, says: “Seriously. Is your horn stuck?”
“Is your f—king horn stuck, smartass? Let me see your driver’s license. I tell you what, you’re gonna either show me your driver’s license or you’re gonna wind up getting a ticket, I’ll tow your car and lock you up.”
The ordeal continues for a while until the officer claims that he hopes Mr Smith isn’t in a hurry because “you’re going to be delayed for a little while, you f–king j–k-ff.”
We looked it up and it does indeed resemble a scene from Curb Your Enthusiasm.
