Richard Branson who is the Virgin Chief has launched a secret organization that is aimed at reversing the UK’s move to leave the European Union. Branson says that he will publicly unveil a detailed plan outlining how he will defy the will of the population on the same day that British Prime Minister Theresa May will trigger Article 50.
In a report issued by Express.co.uk, the Europhiles are keen to rock the Brexit boat as much as possible by timing their group’s launch to coincide with Theresa May enacting the Article 50. By voting to leave the EU, Mr. Branson believes that Brexiteers have shot themselves in the foot, adding that if one makes a bad decision in business, you ought to change your mind.
Mr. Branson has the support of the insurance tycoon Sir Clive Cowdery and former private equity boss Stephen Peel. The Virgin chairman Peter Norris and former Blaire Minister Alan Milburn are also backing Mr. Branson.
Directors of the group have been revealed by Papers filed ay Companies House. The group is known as UK-EU Open Policy Limited, it includes journalist and economist Anatole Kaletsky. Mr. Branson insisted that Britain ought to change its mind concerning Europe.
Back in November, the Express.co.uk broke the news a Brexit business group was being formed to take on the likes of Mr. Branson. However, following Theresa May’s speech on Monday outlining her desire to bring Britain out of the single market it has folded.
Mr. Branson has been slammed by Tory MP Peter Bone for being arrogant about the EU’s importance.
