All Three Of Texas Mom's Children Test Positive For Meth

A mother in Abilene, Texas has been indicted on child endangerment charges after authorities found all three of her children tested positive for meth.

Texas officers initiated a welfare check at 30-year-old Ashley Rodriguez's home in March 2017 upon learning she was suicidal. The officers were greeted by a mess of "drug paraphernalia" according to court documents. Rodriguez's three children were found in the home under the care of a babysitter.

The documents also say the "drug paraphernalia was discovered in the home easily accessible by the children." Authorities located Rodriguez who admitted to using meth and a CPS investigation ensued which included drug testing the children. All three of Rodriguez's children tested positive for meth according to the court documents which revealed the test results, "All were found to have methamphetamine in their system."

Rodriguez was indicted by a Taylor County Grand Jury for Endangering a Child Thursday and is being held on $25,000 bond.
