Police who were on the lookout for a disappeared 23 year old woman have now arrested a young man who, in his apartment just Southwest of Tokyo, had stashed body parts of 9 different humans, all headless.
27 year old Mr Takahiro Shiraishi at first admitted to police, who were onto his trail as they had security camera footage of him walking with the woman, that he killed her soon after they first met, but when they did a search of his apartment, they were amazed at what they found next.

9 dismembered bodies, cut up into various parts and buried in kitty litter to cover up the smell that hung all-over the house in which he had rented an apartment since a few months.
In the end, it seems that Mr Shiraishi kept the bathroom fan constantly running to cover it up, but neighbors constantly complained about the stench.
All body parts were found inside cold-storage containers and different tool boxes, apparently they belonged to eight different women and one young man.
The police are expected to file murder charges later today against Mr Shiraishi.
Various neighbors explained to reporters that the stench coming from the apartment had become too much too bear.
An unidentified neighbor said: “I thought it smelled like sewage. It was something I never smelled before.”
The apartment is located near the US Army's Camp Zama.
Police got on Mr Shiraishi’s trail at first because of a message posted on the 23 year old woman's Twitter account on September 20th in which she stated that she was "looking for someone who will die with me." The post stated she "wants to die, but is scared of dying alone." Mr Shiraishi had apparently replied to the message.
Her brother then contacted the police last week as she had been missing for 3 days. Police broke into her account with the help of the brother and saw that she had been exchanging messages with Mr Shiraishi.
